Golf Cart Technician

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Job Type: Full-Time

About Us

Cartz Partz has been keeping golf carts running strong in Arizona for over 30 years. We’re locally trusted dealership that services and sells carts to apartment complexes, schools, resorts, and everyday customers. Our shop is busy, our customers count on us, and we take pride in doing the job right the first time.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and repair gas and electric golf carts — batteries, wiring, motors, chargers, brakes, and steering.

  • Handle routine maintenance work: battery swaps, tire replacements, inspections, and safety checks.

  • Install add-ons like cargo boxes, lights, radios, lift kits, and rear seats.

  • Troubleshoot problems and explain solutions to the service writer and team.

  • Keep your bay clean, organized, and safe — tools back where they belong.

What We’re Looking For

  • Hands-on experience in golf carts, power sports, or automotive (dealership, small engine, or shop experience works).

  • Solid skills with electrical systems and mechanical troubleshooting.

  • Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and using basic diagnostic tools.

  • Someone dependable, who shows up on time and gets the work done.

  • Able to lift 50 lbs and work in shop and outdoor conditions.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Extra Skills That Help

  • Knowledge of major brands: Club Car, EZGO, Yamaha, Advanced EV, etc.

  • Experience with lithium batteries, welding, or light fabrication.

  • Background using shop software (LightSpeed or similar).

Why Work With Us

  • Steady hours and a growing service department.

  • Competitive pay based on experience.

  • Work on a wide range of carts — from basic run-arounds to heavy-duty utility builds.

  • A tight-knit crew where your work is valued and customers notice the difference.
